Our tours were specially selected to fulfill your expectations, therefore, besides the traditional trips we offer other options of ecological tours through the National Park of Serra de Bocaina and the Preserved Area (APA) of Cairuçu. We can also arrange special trips, according to the individual interests of each visitor.

Duration: 3 hours Descending: 1 hour it decides of 1 hour for a rapid in inflatable small boat stops up to 8 people. This adventure happens in Rio Mambucaba, one of the best ones of the region for practical of this sport. It includes: transport in Jeep until the place where they are the small boats.

This is an ecological trip through the Atlantic Rainforest, which includes visiting many waterfalls and their natural swimming pools (excellent for bathing), and passing by specially selected spots with spectacular view of the Paraty Bay.

This is a special trip to the top of the highest mountain of the region, 1850 meters above sea level. It is localized in the district of Cunha, on the border of the state of Sao Paulo. From the top, there is a spectacular four angles view of the bay of Ilha Grande, district of Angra do Reis and the whole of Paraty. This beautiful trip includes a jeep ride from Paraty (through the Atlantic Rainforest and Serra da Bocaina) to the entrance at the bottom of the Pedra da Marcela mountain (altogehter about 32 km), and then about 1 hour climbing on the pavement. As the trail ascends a medium level of difficulty must be acknowledged. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the cold, and the special microclimate of the mountain in the autumn and in the winter, as well as the beauty and exuberance of the region between the spring and the summer. We are going to stay on the top of the mountain for about 3 hours. (This trip will proceed just under good weather conditions.) Departure: 8 am Return: 5 pm Transportation from the pousadas included.

Nice beach inside of an Environmental Conservation Area called Cairuçu. Visit to local fishermen community with their traditional fishing techniques and the old houses of local production of corn and manioc (a popular Brazilian root) flower. We start this trip with a walk to the waterfall of Tobogã (“Roller-coaster”- a place famous for being ideal for sliding down on the stone), and then, the same path will lead us to the Tarzan waterfall to enjoy bathing in the natural pool. After that, we’ll visit a distillery of pinga (sugar cane liquor), where we can taste it, and see the traditional method of production of many kinds of cachaça, and the old houses of local production of corn and mandioca (a popular Brazilian root) flower. Our next stop will be at the Fazenda Murycana (Murycana Farm), which was build, in the 17th century. This well preserved, historical farm with the original layout of the farmhouses, is a truly worth seeing place. There will be an optional stop for lunch at the farm (where the typical food of the region is served), and then a visit to Pedra Branca- an amazing waterfall with a big volume of water (great for bathing). Our final destination will be Exposicao de Bromélias (The Bromelia’s Exhibition), where we can admire more than 300 species of plants of Mata Atlantic (ideal for photos).

Paraty is a small and very charming village declared Historical Heritage in 1958 because of its colonial houses that maintain the characteristics of the city’s foundation in the 16th Century. This is a tour that recalls “Ciclo do Ouro”-The Gold Cycle times, when the gold found in Minas Gerais was transported through The Gold Trail (a stone paved, mountain road) to Paraty.
The tour buses or vans will take you to the starting point, which is on the way to Cunha (10 km away from Paraty). There will be a 2.5km trek with a guide to the sítio (a farm). Easy climbing (about 2.2 km) and then 800m of walking towards the ruins. This is an excellent opportunity to see two exhibits, ruins, and to have a breathtaking view of the restored 18th century paved road (up to 10 wide) , where the slaves were transporting the gold.

Ponta da Juatinga, sometimes called Joatinga, is a preserved area of the Atlantic Rainforest, which is localized in the extreme south side of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
The boat leaves the harbor of Paraty at 8:00am and reaches the destination about 9:00am. The transfer to the shore is done by a caiçara canoe (a local traditional boat). Right after, there will be a walk to the lighthouse, the highest point of the bay. On the way down there will be a stop for diving, and then a practical demonstration of the traditional fishermen techniques will be shown.
After the demonstration lunch will be served on the nearby island.
Fruit and water included.

Tour III - Big beach of Cajaiba
This trip takes about 9 hours. The Mamangua Bay is located in the District of Paraty - southeast of the State of Rio de Janeiro - it´s a unique and tropical FJORD, which the discharge zone of the sea turns into a beautiful and green river with 8 (eight) kilometers of extention. This stretching becomes the most sustaintable mangrove area of Ilha Grande Bay. All this beautiful scenario is surrounded by sheer mountains occupied by the Atlantic Tropical Rain Forest and populated by a local traditional community of fishermen, craftmen, agriculturists, that still maintain their traditional and simple lifestyle, enriching even more, their habits in this tropical paradise. We are specialized in arranging and coordinating environmental surveys for regular schools and sports, health and adventure programs at the Mamangua Bay and Paraty city as well.
Praia do Sono “Sleepy Beach” (very charming, little village), is one of the most beautiful beaches of the region, with the access only by trail.
It is a true sanctuary, surrounded by the Atlantic Rainforest, its clear, transparent waters are a perfect scenario to practice surfing and enjoy bathing.
The walk starts from Laranjeras and takes about 1:30 min.
There is a stop for bathing and then an (optional) walk to the Antigos and Antiguinhos beach.

Ponta Negra is a small village (inhabited by fishermen) with a wonderful beach, and an amazing waterfall which flows into the sea. Surrounded by the Atlantic Rainforest, the beach of Ponta Negra with its pure, crystal waters, is an excellent place to enjoy and relax.
There will be a walk (with a guide) about 1:30 min towards Condominium Laranjeras, and then to Praia do Sono (an optional boat can be arranged from the Condominium). After a short stop, there will be a trek through the Antigos and Antiguinhos beaches, that leads straight to Ponta Negra .(Depending on the weather conditions a boat can also be used).
